My Donate to Charities at a Glance.

I appreciate being able to support and donate to charities which, through their leadership role, continue to make a difference.

Perhaps you've heard of some of them. Perhaps not.

Thank you for being interested in visiting this page as I share a few of my favorites.

If you read about me you'll recall my first photography courses in Jasper National Park.

In fact, the banner at the top of this page is the view towards Maligne Lake from the Bald Hills trail in Jasper National Park.

Friends of Jasper is one of my special donate to charities.

Looking down at the base of Angel Glacier as seen from the trail leading to the mountain meadows at Mount Edith Cavell, Jasper National Park.

Restoration of trails plays a very important role with Friends of Jasper, as does educating visitors to stay on the designated paths.

This preserves food source for both small and large animals as well as literally saving delicate species of flowers.

Mountain vistas supporting tiny ground hugging plants make one wonder how they survive at all.

Every footprint has an impact and thank you to the Friends of Jasper for your continued trail and restoration projects.

If you feel compelled I invite you to become one of the special Friends of Jasper.

For the thrill of a lifetime here I am with Sarah the Golden Eagle and Colin, the visionary behind the Alberta Birds of Prey Foundation.

"Bird adoption" makes a wonderful gift for all ages.

On a cold spring day in Coaldale, two hours south of Calgary, Alberta, we were honored to spend time with Colin as he gave us a tour of this truly incredible facility.

A number of ongoing projects include rehabilitating and releasing injured birds of prey, captive breeding, studying bird of prey populations.

Public environmental awareness and habitat stewardship is an important component of the vision and mission of the centre.

I think they heard the lunch bucket!

We had a lot of fun feeding the ducks, too.

If you're looking to donate to charities like this it's a very interesting centre to visit. To learn more please feel free to visit Alberta Birds of Prey Foundation.
